If you are considering buying from WOWHD be prepared to endure endless delays and a total lack of support from the company. I purchased an item recently but it went "missing" in the US postal system and neither WOWHD or the courier company could tell me what had happened or where my item was. I eventually received a refund through Paypal but I had to waste a great deal of time on the whole situation. Your poor service reflects very badly on you WOWHD. You would think that, after reading the large number of negative reviews about you, that you would take action to improve, but obviously you don't think a great deal of your customers. You will NEVER get my business again.

Stay away, up until about 6 years ago this was an excellent site to order from. I ordered a Peter Gabriel cd/dvd from the old WOWHD and there was a region problem with the DVD so I returned it and got online credit. The company changed hands and they had no record of my credit and wouldn't honour what was owed to me. I've never bought anything from them again

I wasn’t going to bother with this review but checking online it seems these lot need to be outed for their continuing bad service that’s tying up customers money!
As A LOT of other people have experienced I basically had my money held for ages only to be given a refund after nothing happening and my repeated chasing followed by a demand for a refund via PayPal dispute.
I ordered a MONOPOLY SOPRANOS EDITION that was marked for PRE-ORDER on the 6th August.
On the 23rd of August after hearing nothing the item was then showing on the website as OUT OF STOCK so I chased via email and got a VERY generic email reply stating the following:
We apologize for the delay with the shipping on this order.
Please note that as of now the item is backordered and we are waiting for copies to be available to ship.
Is important for you to know that we do not handle expected date for backordered items.
Thank you for your patience.
On the 6th September I then chased again after no updates or item received and received the following:
We're sorry to inform you that the item(s) are temporarily out of stock. Back order item(s) are typically filled within 45 days. The item(s) will ship as soon as they become available.
If we are unable to fulfil the item(s) requested, the item(s) will be cancelled, and you will be notified via email.
I opened a paypal case and replied saying such and requesting an immediate refund which was processed the next day with paypal advising such and the money was back with me 24 hours later.
Basically this company are REPEATEDLY taking orders for items they do not have in stock or ANY IDEA of a release/stocking date and ONLY WHEN CHASED are they letting you know they intend to keep you waiting for WEEKS at a time!

I ordered CDs five or six years ago, waited months then found out the company was changing hands. The new owners refused to honour old orders, no refund, nothing. I'm leaving this review now because why not.

So sorry I didnt read these reviews before I ordered some Christmas gifts on this SCAM website at the start of Dec. They still havent arrived and the website is not responding to my complaints and requests for my money back. Complete frauds

Ordered 'NEW' Blu-ray, it will be the first and last time I do.

I did research WOWHD for reviews beforehand and was concerned with some of the feedback but I really wanted this film and
it was cheaper than ordering through ebayuk, now I know why!
Item arrived in about 11 days in an undamaged adequate thin'ish brown ribbed package, not as good as a padded envelope imo.
Blu-ray was shrink wrapped. Upon opening the transparent outer sleeve is totally wrinkled, looks terrible, something I've never experienced with shrink wrapped items from retailers in the UK.
At the bottom of the spine some of the plastic has snapped off.
Now baring in mind this was sealed but there is no broken plastic to be found, very suspicious.
Now I notice the paper cover is protruding out quite a bit above the transparent sleeve. The front top edge of the paper cover has several small tears and scuffs. The disc itself has a finger mark on it, though does play ok.
Do they expect customers to believe this is 'NEW' and not 'USED' and re-sealed?
I contact WOWzersHolyDishonest??? letting them know my thoughts attaching several photo's. I inform them I will be
leaving feedback on trustpilot and bluray.com if the matter is not resolved to my satsifaction.
They replied within 24-48hrs offering me a measly 10% refund for the Blu-ray case damage or I can return it to the USA address given for an exchange or full refund.
They do not even acknowledge or mention the small tears to the paper cover or that I have been sent a 'USED' item even if in error!
Now there is no way I am going to returm the item at my own risk which could go missing in the postal system, I would have to pay the postage and it would take up to 2 weeks or 4 weeks for an exchange to arrive.
Under protest I reluctantly accepted the 10% refund.
LET THIS BE A WARNING TO OTHER POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS.

Yikes - previously dealt with this company a few years ago and had CDs and records delivered to NZ cut-price no problems. Ordered a new double CD in late October 2017. By early December it still hadnt arrived and in order to meet Paypal dispute deadlines I filed a dispute and emailed Wow HD to advise them of this. Then I went overseas on holiday and near the end of that (Jan 2018) noted they had simply refunded my money. Sweet. However after all that mucking around, check iTunes first - I paid $28NZD for the CD and then saw I could get it on iTunes for $15NZD (my fault totally). So yea, the CD still hasnt arrived, lucky I got the refund. Dont go here people......

Great priced CD's especially considering that postage is free. Nowhere have I found such reasonable prices and believe me I've bought CD's from everywhere on the planet. Excellent selection of titles and CD's have always arrived in good time. Very impressive service.

Fast dispatch and good prices.
I order many items from WOW HD and by far the majority arrive in good time, considering they are being sent from the USA, and you can buy items not readily available in the UK. There have been a couple of instances where an item hasn't turned up or arrived late and their customer service is sporadic and they do have a tendency to tell you to wait unrealistically long timescales for items to arrive but on the whole, they are very good and I will continue to use them. Some of the reviews I have read on here don't seem to take into account that items are being sent from abroad and sometimes you have to wait a few weeks for something to arrive.

Like getting robbed
I ordered the new Anthrax cd on the 26th of February and they drew the money from my creditcard on the 29th of February.
Today it's 91 days since they took my money and i have never received the cd, and they refuse to pay my money back.
